Operaction Code

Operation Code strive to provide an efficient way into a tech career for veterans and their families. They offer one-on-one mentorship and networking with other developers. They also work directly with Senators, Congressmen, and Congresswomen to allow veterans total control of their future by permitting the use of the GI Bill on coding bootcamps.


Outreachy provides internships to work in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).  Outreachy internships are open to applicants around the world. Interns work remotely, and are not required to move. Interns are paid a stipend of $5,500 USD for the three month internship. Interns have a $500 USD travel stipend to attend conferences or events.

LinkedIn offers U.S. service members and veterans a free 1-year Premium Career subscription, including one year of access to LinkedIn Learning.


Pramp (Practice Makes Perfect) intelligently matches engineers and programmers from around the world over video chat and other collaboration tools. Users share knowledge, learn from one another and prepare for their next coding interview.

Amazon AWS

Students receive credits for hands-on experience with AWS technology, training, content, career pathways and the AWS Educate Job Board and gain visibility from employers who are also on the platform


Vets Who Code is a non-profit dedicated to filling the nations technical skills gap with America’s best. They achieve this by using technology to connect and train veterans remotely in web development in order to close the digital talent gap and ease career transition for military veterans.


Offers free courses with the option to pay for certificates/grading.


They offer paid apprenticeship training in software development — a full-time job — with benefits, including G.I. Bill payout on top of paycheck — for eligible military veterans, reservists and family, including family of active duty service-members and fallen heroes


Helps military veterans easily integrate into the workplace through an accelerated on-the-job training with a prospective company.
